Staying At Our Dream Boutique Holiday In Turkey

Back in the winter months, me and my wife were searching through brochures on Turkey boutique hotels and thinking about going on our summer vacation which seemed light years ahead. We had had quite a bit of experience of several boutique hotels in Crete however neither of us had travelled to Turkey before. In addition my wife also suggested visiting Greece once more, and staying at one of the fantastic family hotels in Greece. However, as neither of us had ever been to Turkey before, we made up our minds to go here instead.

 We didn’t regret our decision and had a fabulous holiday. On arrival at our boutique hotel, we knew we would be in for a treat throughout our stay. As with many boutique hotels, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff treated us like individuals rather than just another customer. The decor in the hotel had a Baroque feel to it and we imagined that we had been transported back in time by a few hundred years.

The hotel was right in the heart of the town centre, which was good for us as my wife does like her shopping! On other days we used a hire car to drive out of town and see the many beautiful sites in the surrounding area. I was able to take many fabulous photographs with my new SLR camera. On some days we toured on foot and it was nice to meet many friendly local people along the way. The people we met were all friendly and eager to help when we asked for directions.

 Being in the centre of town was good for sampling the nightlife. Each and every evening we would dine out at a fine restaurant which would cater for the most fussy palate. There was a plethora of bars and clubs which we would go to after our meal.

All in all our holiday in Turkey was one of the best we had ever had, and I would highly recommend this destination as a holiday if you have never been here before.
