Get the Right Paintball Gear

When you begin your adventure into the fun world of playing paintball it is important to obtain the right paintball gear. Of course it wold be okay to play paintball with little or no paintball gear, but when you come out of the game looking like you were in a fight, you might want to consider some serious paintball protective gear.

What Paintball Gear Do I Need?

Determining the right paintball gear is left up to your experience, cash flow, and how often you want to play. If you are only going to play the game once and a while, it might be a good idea to stick to the basic paintball gear. This is normally a mask and paintball gun (marker) with ammo. The mask you get may remind you of the masks worn by a SWAT team, but it should be something comfortable to wear.  But it is an extremely important piece of equipment to protect your face and eyes. The last thing you want is for a paintball to hit you square in the eye. Even with basic paintball gear you will not be completely protected from getting the odd bruise while playing the game.If you play often or play in a paintball tournament, you might want to look into paintball protective gear. This type of gear would not only include the mask and gun with ammo but will also contain knee pads, a protective chest plate, and even some elbow pads. I have seen some people dressed in their full paintball gear looking like they were going to be deployed into a war zone. Most men that play also wear a cup similar to those worn in baseball or football as part of their paintball gear. You could find some stores that offer discounted rates on pre-packed paintball gear.As well as some extra ammo, they usually contain everything you would need. The style of gun you choose can vary, but it depends on the type of paintball tournament you enter, or the rules of the location where you will be playing. Some of them limit the types of guns due to the various impact levels of the shot, so it would be in your best interest to check with the facility you will play at before buying your paintball gear.
