Friday, September 11th, 2009

Today in this ear, everybody has to have a car.A few people even need the use of planes.  But for most a car is essential for living. It gets people to and from work.  It takes people to go shopping. It can get people to and from school. So what I have to share with you is the 3 crucial parts of having your car in good working order.

This is from a perspective from my experience running a auto repair San Diego company. The two areas we need to take a closer look at is the health of your car and your overall safety.

So when we are talking about safety in reality all vehicle maintenance pertains to safety. But there is a part of your car that is critical to safety.  That part is your brakes.  With cars going faster and faster you need good brakes. With people being distracted with so many things you really need good brakes.  By making sure you take care of them you will always be able to break in time.  Well taken care of brakes save lives and money.  I have seen it first hand running a San Diego brake shop.

In regards to your car’s health the most important part is keeping your car maintained. Some of the critical things that have to be done are getting tune ups and oil changes. By making an effort to always change the oil you allow your car to run smoother and longer.By not always changing your oil you run the chance of ruining your engine.

Another important point you should remember to do is have regular tune ups done.  If you do that you keep all your car’s major functions taken care of.  By doing this once again your car will runner smoother and cleaner. If you fail to do this you will have a car that doesn’t run very well. Some things that can happen when you don’t do that is a failed smog test.  Most of the cars that fail in my smog test San Diego shop are the ones that didn’t take care of those things.

So by doing these two things you will keep your car safe and you and your loved ones safe.
