Garden Decorations Is a Big Plus For Your Property

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Garden is an important factor for any house. Having a good looking garden can increase your house value by approx 15%. Many people these days are decorating their garden so that the value of the property increases in the market. Most people these days have swimming pools, swings, trampolines and other garden accessories which might be in an interest of the buyers.

During this economy period I think this is a brilliant idea. Another great idea would be to increase the size of your conservatory if you have enough room in your garden, then have an extra room located in it. I have recently done this and had conservatory increased with one extra room and a toilet. Before it was a two bedroom house with 1 bathroom, 1 living room and 1 reception but now it is a three bedroom house with two bathrooms, one reception, one conservatory and one living room. Just one simple change which cost £2,500 has increased the value of my property from £120,000 to £160,000 even in this economy.

This is just one example, you wouldn’t believe what my Uncle did in his garden, he built a play ground which includes five swings, two 12ft trampolines with safety nets and pads, 5 benches, a barbecue stand, few climbing toys for kids and a water fountain. How could he afford it? He has been in a medical field for over 50 years so obviously he can afford it. His pension is nearly double to what I get for my salary and I am an engineer for god sake, so just imagine how big his house is - I might as well call it a mansion. I asked him why he built a playground for and spend all this money, he gently replied: in few months he wants to move somewhere small with his wife, so he wants to either rent of sell this property as a house or as a nursery. What a great idea. He can even charge the nursery to use it so he won’t really be loosing anything. May be I can add a 10ft trampoline on to my garden and create a playground for my kids.

Trampolines help in getting your body in shape. If you are concerned abou tthe size of the trampoline while purchasing it then mini trampolines would be good to look at. Mini trampolines can always fit inside your house and you can take it outside in your garden. You can also work out inside the house if you have a big living room or a reception area, which saves the trampoline from different weather conditions. Other than using big garden trampolines which takes all the space you can use mini trampolines

The second name for mini trampolines is rebounders. Using the mini for rebounding can effectively give you a full body work out. Rebounding can help you reduce fat and tone your whole body muscles. It helps work out your legs, thights, bottoms, abdomen, hips and arms. Rebounding strengthens your muscles along with providing fantastic aerobic workouts. People who goto the gym to achieve body toning and weight loss can do this at home by using mini trampolines. This will prove to be very cost effective in long term.

You can perform rebounding exercises anywhere you want well within your home, not outside on the road. If you have a safe neighbourhood away from the busy roads then you might be able to use it on the road with your neighbour, this could turn out to be a fun activity. And after the exercise you can enjoy a lovely social barbecue - if you lived in Hawaii where the weather is always great you could do this every day. The sheer excitement of working out and socialising with your neighbours and friends justs puts a smile on your face, doesn’t it.

These trampolines can be used as outdoor trampolines and it can be folded and carried away on a business trip if you do not have time to go to the gym, but do you really need the gym when you have a mini trampoline. It is small in size can can be used in a hotel room after a hard day at work, which will also help you relax.

What are trampolines made of?

Trampolines are made of four basic components the tubing, springs, safety pads and jumping mat. Nowadays most trampolines have safety nets attached to it for safety reasons.

The tubing is used to make the frame and legs of the trampoline. The legs are usually made of galvanised steel. Using these steel also protect the metal from rust and different weather conditions as most trampolines are bought for outdoor use.

Spring is used to generate the boune for the trampolines. Manufacturers normally have a specific spring they require for their trampolines. Most manufacturers outsource this task to expert spring companies to produce spring.

The jumping mats are made of woven fibres, which are normally used to make fabrics. Trampolines nowadays are made of plastic or nylon.

Safety pads are made of foam. They connect the pads to the frame and use vinyl covers and pie straps for connection. Safety pad foam core as also manufactured by a company specialising on foam for many trampoline manufacturers. The above process is how manufacturers build the trampolines you use for exercise and fun.

Here is something you might find interesting while reading, one trampoline manufacturer (not going to tell who) have around 80 people, who work 8 hours a day to create over 500 trampolines. Daily? Weekly? Monthly? Yearly? this quiz is for you.. There are some manufacturers who only build trampolines for athletes and some who produce for everyone from 8ft trampolines to 14ft trampolines for outdoor and home use.

Recently it was annouced a UK based trampoline company was planning to design a trampoline without the frames. Their logic behind this was to prevent injuries, as most injuries occur when falling into the metal frames.

The new trampolines are thoroughly tested by the manufacturers before it hits the market.
