Staying At Dubai Hotels For The National Day Festival.

It’s the UAE annual 40th National Day celebrations this month and the Dubai hotels will be full as tourists flock into the city eager to see all the events happening across the city.

Lads’ Vacations At Mexico Hotels

Staying at Mexico hotels with your mates is a great way to explore this country that offers plenty of sun, sea and sports.

Famed for its nightlife as well as its national drinks of Corona beer, margaritas and tequila, Mexico is the ideal place for you and your mates to party, especially during the spring break. So if you’re looking to book a lively stag party to the popular resorts then this is the time to do it – book early though as cheap hotels do get very busy during this period. Most lads seem to head for the popular resorts of Acapulco, Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, renowned for their vibrant nightlife as well as the beaches. For night-long dancing until the early hours and live entertainment, head for the Senor Frogs and Coco Bongo nightclubs in Cancun.

Mexican food is very spicy and like the climate, is quite hot. Try and savour some of the authentic Mexican food during your stay, you won’t be disappointed. There is a wide range of spicy traditional dishes to try, like quesadillas, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, nachos and tacos. Desserts are equally delicious with the traditional crème caramel flan available in an array of yummy flavours.

Whether it’s fantastic football or wacky wrestling, Mexico offers some great spectator sports. Costa Del Sol Hotels: Beaches For Everyone

One thing that sets the beaches of the Costa Del Sol apart from the rest are their high standards of hygiene, which has resulted in most being awarded the European Blue Flag. You’ll find parasols and sunbeds for hire on the more popular beaches along with a range of facilities. Extending for more than 150 kilometres along the coastline around the province of Malaga, there are beaches here to suit everyone, with numerous Costa Del Sol hotels offering sea views along the coast.

If you’re staying around Marbella and Fuengirola, look out for signs to La Cala del Mijas. The sea here is calm and the clean beach tends to attract many families and groups from the hotels nearby, and it’s clear to see why. This really is a beach for the whole family as there are many bars and restaurants along with facilities for the kids too. Why not hire a pedalo, a jet ski or delve under water with a spot of snorkelling.

When you want to party, head to the Nikki Beach in Marbella. This is where the clubbers go and it regularly attracts famous celebrities. It’s the place to be seen. Because of the famous clientele, there are gourmet restaurants along the beach as well as hammocks and sunbeds for hire.  Those wanting to dance the night away head to the Amazing Sunday parties, held in the summer months and attract over 1,000 people. There is always something happening here with ‘Full Moon Parties’, ‘Miami Vibes Night’ and ‘The Champagne World Tour’ events being the most popular.

Considered by many to be the best beach in the Costa Del Sol is Cabopino, with its golden white sands and harbour views. A beautiful ancient Moorish watchtower shadows over the beach. The sand dunes around the beach keep off the summer breezes and the many palm trees provide welcome shade.

Those seeking a relaxing experience should head to Estepona’s Playa del Saladillo. Hotel deals in the area are popular because of the beach’s atmosphere. Despite being of a volcanic origin, the sand here is smooth and clean and the area also has a promenade and fountains to enjoy.

Visit The Best Of Gozo From Malta Hotels.

Roughly the size of Manhattan, Gozo is a small island off the coast of Malta. Malta hotels offer close proximity to the attractions of Gozo including the Ggantija temples. ‘Gozo’ means ‘joy’ in Castilian and this aptly describes the islanders’ attitude to life. Only 5km from Malta, Gozo inhabitants have a largely different way of life and like an uncomplicated existence.

For such a small space, Gozo has an unusually large number of churches on the island. One of Gozo’s biggest churches is the Xewkija church with a its huge dome. Ramla Bay and San Blas are two popular beaches on Gozo. The quieter San Blas beach is a great spot to relax and recuperate. Ramla Bay is the more popular destination. Known locally as ‘The Red Sandy Beach’ on account of the orangey-red sand there, excavations under the beach at Ramla Bay have discovered Roman remains.

One famous Gozo landmark is the ‘Azure Window’. The arch is a striking natural rock creation. Located at Dwejra Bay, a good place to scuba dive, it has appeared in the films ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ and ‘Clash of The Titans’. Impressively measuring well over 22 metres, it is now beginning to crumble away. There are many cheap hotels within easy reach of this landmark so make sure you see it while you can.

 Il Fontana is a small village on Gozo famous for its springs. Some of the shelters where people would sit and wash their clothes, date back to the C16th century and still remain in tact. As well as this the village hosts a spectacular feast day in mid-June. Travellers flock to Nadur during carnival season. People stay in Malta hotels and then catch the ferry over to participate in the fun. In fact, during the summer season, there is bound to be a feast, dancing and live music with fireworks too, happening on some part of Gozo.

Exploring Europe From Cheap Hotels

There is a rail network amongst the resorts in Europe with cheap hotels that links Europe to the Mediterranean and on to Scandinavia. The InterRail Global Pass enables you to explore Europe, which has got to be better than the usual boring summer holidays sat on a beach somewhere in the drizzle. With 30 countries opened up by InterRail, there should be something for everyone.

InterRail passes are not valid however for trains in this country. This being the case, you’ll have to find a cheap way to travel to mainland Europe to use the InterRail Global Pass. Upon arriving in Europe, the world is your oyster, as the pass is valid in 30 countries.

Europe is becoming increasingly well-known for staging some of the best music festivals worldwide; one of the best being the Spanish Festival Internacional de Benicassim. Set in a stunning location, it combines theatre, fashion, art, cinema and music. Once partied out, it is worth looking into hotel deals and booking yourself into Barcelona where you’ll be able to explore one of the cultural centres of Europe. Must-sees are the famous Las Ramblas and its plethora of shops; the Miro museum; and Gaudi’s Park Guell – a garden-city created by the artist in his inimitable style.

Florence is ideal for art lovers; a shrine to the Renaissance, the city is full of galleries and monuments celebrating its artistic heritage. The most important gallery, probably in the whole of Italy has to be The Uffizi Gallery. Constructed in the 16th Century by the Medici, The Uffizi Gallery displays work by Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, and da Vinci.

There are many hotels in Dubrovnik, some with their own private beaches. One of the best cheap hotels in the city is the Hotel Adriatic and it comes highly recommended. Close to Lapad beach, the Hotel Adriatic is also nearby some of Dubrovnik’s most famous tourist attractions, including the Pile Gate and Onofrio’s Fountain.
