Visit The Chiang Mai Flower Show

Monday, September 12th, 2011

In the Northern Province of Thailand they are celebrating a festival every year known as The Chiang Mai Flower Festival. It takes place every 6th to 8th day of February. Chiang Mai is considered as the Rose of the North and is also known for its natural beauty. There are so many plants and flowers that are found here because of the suitable climate for growing these amazing creations. Other countries also share their contribution by sending their own displays. With different varieties of roses, chrysanthemums and daisies. And also lilacs, peonies, petunias and gladiolas are some flowers which give color to the festival.

The festival showcases virtual seas of colourful beds of plants and flowers across the beautiful landscape. Upon entering the flower show the sight will give you a glimpse of what you are going to expect seeing inside it. The man- made landscape will impress you of how intricate it was made. The pathways and walks are also well maintained. Inside, you will see gorgeous flowers in different sizes, shapes and colors and many beautiful arrangements that you could ever imagine. The local gardeners in Chiang Mai do tremendous work in growing and cultivating these flowers every year. Different companies and agencies from all over the province has colorful entries of so many varieties of flowers and almost 1000 species of orchids. They decorate their floats depending on the theme and with beautiful ladies as an addition tho the wondrous sight. The best float will be declared as winner and will be awarded at a competition held at Suan Buak Hat Park. The roads are closed for vendors of plants and flowers with beautiful set ups on their stalls and kiosks.

With the mountains as backdrop and the well maintained gardens, proves that how we can improve, nurture and care for delicate beauty of nature. It shows that if we exert effort on rehabilitating these amazing creations of mother earth there is always hope on saving them from extinction. The Chiang Mai Flower Festival is one example of these. It is not only for us to experience but also to the next generations to come. While many parts of Thailand and all over the world are beginning to lose their natural beauty, this festival is here today and hopefully will last forever.

Pattaya Beach Resort’s

Monday, February 21st, 2011

The Mirage beach is the newest addition to the Centara grand hotel chain and is found right at the foot at the lavish pattaya beach in Thailand. This exuberant hotel is the only in the area which has been reviewed five stars and has won unnumbered awards and boastingly has direct access to the bountiful beach unlike many of the other resorts located in the area.

What makes this resorts really stand out the bunch is its “lost world” theme, this doesn’t take essence from the Jurassic styled movie, but a tranquil undiscovered world where you’ll find incredible untamed scenery , Thai authentic plant life and paramount paradise, close to which you’ll find on Sri Lanka Holidays.

The resort itself has over 555 rooms so it’s never unlikely to find the hotel fully booked , the rooms come as standard with king size beds, deep filled baths tubs with luxury en suit’s, flat screen satellite TV’s, Wi-Fi, Safe deposits, mini bars, the list goes on.

If you’re belly starts to rumble you may want to visit one of the seven bar/grill restaurants which the Centara resorts offers, each has it’s own diverse twist on cuisine from the “Ginger and Lime” that offers traditional Asian dishes to the “Acqua” restaurant which offers authentic Italian dishes.

you may want to take the advantage to unwind at the on-site spa that has also gathered an array of prestigious awards and is most likely one of the best you’ll come across on Thailand holidays, the spa offers the majority of western techniques and also ancient Asian practices and rituals such as the “Shirodhara” where medicated oils will softly be poured over your forehead (third eye) and gently sweep you into a state of motionless relaxation.

Get oiled up and lounge and swim at one of the four pools which are directed to a certain audience being adults pool, kids pools etc, that’s only if grow tired of the beach which is highly unlikely as you’ll entranced by it’s splendour and lavishness for the majority of youre Far East Holidays.

Where Will Prince William And Princess Kate Take The Honeymoon Getaway?

Saturday, December 18th, 2010

His royal Highness Prince William popped the big question to his university sweetheart Kate Middleton on a holiday break to Kenya. The Population of England is ecstatic to hear that a prince is preparing to marry outside of the royal bloodline sending out a positive message across the land expressing how the Royal Family aren’t half as Snobby as we once thought, the Royal Family has adapted itself to modern society and are prepared to mix with other Classes. Kate herself would be defined as a “Commoner” like the Majority of the English people as she holds no royal or Aristocratic titles

the love birds have now been together for over 8 years and it’s about time prince William got his ass in gear, as we all know Prince William is a little bit hunky and a true gentlemen, he could have his pick out of any women in England but we can clearly see why he snapped up Kate Middleton, she’s stunningly beautiful with a friendly and caring personality (just like Williams Mum, Princess Dianna. They do say men go for women like their mothers)

As a nation England was over the moon with the proposal which she happily agreed to, all we have to do now is wait until the beautiful photos of the big day are revealed. the Location of the Wedding is yet to be Announced but i bet it will be a secret wedding in a secluded Destination somewhere in England.

the people of England cannot wait to see the Honey Moon pictures!! I can think of a few honeys moon destinations which the royal couple could visit on their loved up getaway. One of the countries from the Caribbean region will be perfect and are very popular among honeymooners. a large majority of honeymooners take Antigua Holidaysor perhaps an exotic Far East destination such a Thailand Holidays, where the couple can hide away together in a secluded paradise, All we do know it’s going to be very romantic a little bit fancy, I highly doubt they will go for a half board or All Inclusive Holidays packages as the couple will probably be treated like gods, drinking copious amounts of expensive champagne and tucking down into Michelin star meals throughout the trip.

Thailand Travel Guide - The Town Of Mae Phim

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

The beach resort of Mae Phim is less than two hours away from central Bangkok. The nearby city of Pattaya attracts more tourists than Mae Phim, but the latter is more relaxed and more authentically Thai. Do not be fooled into thinking that because it is less crowded means that it has less to offer - far from it. Up until lately, Mae Phim has shied away from going all out to promote its charms and beauty. Affluent Thais have been visiting Mae Phim for a long time, as they have been all to aware of what it has to offer. The beaches have always been beautiful, and there is now first class accommodation and attractions to supplement them. Mae Phim offers wonderful beaches, with white sand and clear blue water. You can find similarly beautiful beaches elsewhere in Thailand, but the ones in Mae Phim are still wholly unspoiled. They still retain their natural charm and beauty, and have not been excessively filled with deck-chairs, or over-run with hawkers. As for accommodation options, you will not be disappointed. From simple guest-houses to luxurious hotels, there is something for everyone in Mae Phim. The most popular option though is a vacation rental home, whereby someone who owns a property in Mae Phim rents it out to tourists when they are not living in it themselves. Expect to find several bedrooms, private swimming pools and landscaped gardens. Having first arrived, and unpacked your bags, you might like to take a walk around central Mae Phim, to soak up the atmosphere and ambience. It is charming and authentic, and has everything that you could want. You will find all of the amenities that you would expect from a first class tourist destination, but rather than dominating the area, they sit in harmony with the traditional Thai aspects of the town.
