Bournemouth is a vibrant, thriving and amazingly exciting city, despite the unfortunate fact that it has the nickname ‘God’s waiting Room’. The reason it is called this is that many elderly people choose the place for their retirement. However, the city of Bournemouth has an incredible youth culture, with a high number of university and language students. Obviously such a place will be a superb place to visit but, there is a great deal  more to entertain you. Bournemouth is found right on the coast in the South of England, roughly a hundred miles away from of the city of London. Places which prove very popular to visit include; Bournemouth Pier, the graveyard of St. Peters Church, the award winning Central Gardens and the Russel-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum.

Big Levels Of “Sickness” Thanks To World Cup

It really does not take a scientist to see that a lot of people are going to be taking time off during the course of the World Cup and this is because a lot of people across the planet all have the same interest for a month. It is not just the people that are passionate about the sport that are going to be having time off during this time period.

 

A lot of businesses are really panicking as next month is set to actually be a big one for people faking being ill for the entire month which actually doesn’t come as a surprise to me. One of the ideas that you could perhaps take on if your in an office to allow your employees to watch the game at work, where is the harm in that?. Setting a television up in the office is not a hard thing to do at all.

 

Another idea you could do is allowing staff to come in a bit earlier and leave a bit later so they are home in time for the matches.

 

Surely people cannot expect to come back to their jobs without a telling off at the very least if they are taking the entire month off, it is ridiculous! I would personally fire someone if they did that.

 

I mentioned earlier that it is not just the fans that are looking into taking a holiday this year. Many people are booking vacations such as spa holidays to try and get away from the football as there are people out there that simply cannot stand the sport. Caribbean spa holidays and Sri Lanka spa holidays are key destinations for these people.

 

So whether you are watching the games or enjoying a break from it all, enjoy June/July!

It doesn’t matter if you are watching the games or not you should always look into supporting your country when  it comes to things like this.

Scotland is an immensely popular vacation destination as it is highly suitable for a wide variety of vacations.  If you like breaks in the countryside the landscape ranges from plenty of breathtaking coastal destinations to woodlands and mountains inland perfect for ramblers, mountain climbers, hill-walkers, hikers.  In the following article I  take a look at Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland.

Edinburgh is home to some of the most stunning galleries and museums in the United Kingdom and accessible from the city is an impressive selection of fortified houses, castles, historical buildings and country homes which are well worth visiting. The city of Edinburgh is a city of two parts, the Old Town and the New Town, which are immensely different, but both are a World Heritage Site.

Two of the prettiest green areas in the heart of the city are Princes Street Gardens and the Royal Botanic Garden. Situated along Princes Street you will find the usual high street shops, in the West End you will find smart boutiques, in the New Town you will discover many designer goods and in the Old Town there are lots of independent merchants, designers and artisans.

The city of Edinburgh is renowned the world over for it massive number of festivals. known as the festival capital of Europe the year’s calendar is packed full of festivals and events during each month of the year. The month of August is the busiest, with eight festivals. Obviously this is an incredibly difficult time to find an Edinburgh Hotel with vacancies, so make your reservation at the earliest opportunity.

The Edinburgh festival year starts (or ends) with the largest  New Year party on earth. As well known is the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (comedy) and other festivals include; the Edinburgh Mela, Art Festival, Festival of Politics, Book Festival and more.

As mentioned earlier August is the worst month to find rooms when the vast majority of Edinburgh Hotels are fully booked. Unfortunately the same could be said about The Christmas and New Year period which is commonly booked up to a year in advance, so it really is vitally important to book early!

The city features a splendid  choice of hotels, guest houses and accommodation ranging from cheap hotel to the incredibly pricey first class luxury country estate hotels and the likes with a great deal of facilities and  services. So whatever price you can afford you will surely find the most suitable accommodation for you online.
