Where Can I Go Camping in A Tent?

This article looks at the different tastes that people may have in camping and encourages people to think for themselves when it comes to choosing the ‘best’ place to camp, expressing their own individuality as opposed to just going where everyone recommends, which will not be suitable for everyone.

Campers, it has to be said, are a little like fishermen. Others always have had better experiences than you. If you have found the best tents, campsite or the best place to camp in the UK, then they have found the best place to camp in the world, if not the Universe. Throughout the Word there are many and varies camping experiences to have, but your personal preference should guide you in your choice. What is right for you may not be right for all and vice versa.

You should go for the big campsites if you are more of a social person, here you can mingle with other campers and have fun and enjoy the3 experience together.

The choice of camping tents also can often be bewildering and I will cover this in another article- watch this space!

This might not be a great camping experience for you however. If on the other hand you like the quite life, then go somewhere off the beaten track where you can enjoy the wildlife in isolation and quite.

Poor commercially run campsites will not have the facilities that you require.

Non-organised campsites are very different, because you should always have the owner’s permission before you can stay there. However, in practice, it is not always possible to trace an owner and ensure that they give you permission.

The camping community can recommend great campsites they have previously stayed at and also the ones they would not recommend. When you wake in the morning you may well discover that the great camping spot you set up the previous night might not turn out to be so good.

You also should figure out what you like and don’t like. What is fabulous for one camper might be another’s idea of hell. Be your own person and follow your hart rather than following the crowd. Camping is about you as a person and not about just following trends so go your own way and listen to recommendations, but keep a level head, one size does not fit all when it comes to camping.
